Privacy
Short version: we keep what you send us, we use it for the book, and we don’t sell it.
Field reports. When you file a report we store what you typed: the word, his first name, the location, witnesses, the story, and your first name, city and email if you give them. If you check the publishing box, we may print the report in Volume 2 or show it on this site with your first name and city. We never publish your email. Without the box checked, we read it and keep it private.
Appeals. Appeals stay in your browser unless you check “Put my appeal on the public docket.” Then we store the word, the defense, the ruling and the first name you gave, and we may feature it on the docket.
Email list. If you sign up, we send one email when the book is out and occasional news about it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Everything else. The Couch Calculator runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. This site doesn’t use advertising trackers.
Removing your data. Email hello@wordswomenhate.com and we’ll delete your report, appeal or email address.
